Next weekend, Oswego Lake Watershed Council is hosting a morning of stewardship and community building! We’ll be pulling ivy at Westlake as part of a Portland metro-wide effort, No Ivy Day.

Westlake Oak Woodland is a beautiful
17-acre site that hosts rare oak woodland habitat with 150-year-old white oaks. Invasive species, especially ivy, have taken over the woodland and we need your help!

Date: Saturday, October 26, 2019
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Address: 14903 Westlake Drive Lake Oswego, Oregon 97035  (MAP)
Registration Required: Click Here!

We will be removing ivy selectively off of native trees and shrubs to prepare the site for contractor work this Fall. Dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes, and bring a water bottle! Tools, gloves, coffee, and training will be provided. Please note that there is no bathroom on site. Come by, check out the site, and lend a hand as we enhance this unique oak woodland! Invite your friends, family, classmates, and neighbors! We welcome volunteer groups as well.

We hope to see you there!
